Thanks for all your kind words. Looks like I can bring her home this Monday. In a consulation with her physician who is a woman I asked when carol can go for a motorcycle ride. The answer was six weeks. But that is OK as the temperature has to be 70 or above for her to ride with me. Carl

Best regards to your wife Carl. I'm not the praying type, but positive thoughts never hurt.

Ditto but I'm not afraid for some prayer on your families behalf. So either way we got you covered.

Thoughts and prayers Carl, Hope you and your wife are back in the wind soon. B.

I guess the quad guys who are the "Perry Forest Trail Crew" were in there today "clearing trails". There's some stuff on facebook about it, looks like the typical big quad trails, he said they were not allowed to go anywhere but the marked trails, but it sure looks like they are making highways....

Anyone catch NHRA T/F racer Antron Brown's crash yesterday? Pretty amazing that he walked away. One of a few that runs with a cockpit canopy.

Had the same reaction, thought for sure he would be carried out in a bag.

wow. He must be living right. Quite the testament to modern day safety engineering.

I hope he played the lottery. It was definitely his lucky day.

so, the weather was nice-ish today so I rolled up 140 miles on the Sabre...after snagging the latest Farnsy tag, I headed down to Athens to hit Leghorns for some of their giant wings...

and speaking of racing I found something interesting...where 13, 550 and 33 intersect just north of Athens is this place:

which has a couple interesting features on its porch:

and

Mike Skinner's old #31 Lowes car

anyone know what "rear changer car" refers to?

btw, I peeked in the front wheel wells, no engine...but there were two ignition coils and two ignition control boxes bolted to the floor that would be ripe for the picking if one were the thieving type. You can see the coils in one of the pics...

I enjoyed my first day back to work today ( If I keep saying it will it come true?)

anyway apparently I missed a whole lot of drama, none of the stories match up so same old same old, nothing has changed. I can't say much about it on here, but someday I should write a book.

something is amiss with that stock car. I find it very hard to believe they were running regular coils in the early 2000's.
