well, I spent a couple hours online tonight searching and finally found some reasonably priced rounds for my 40 @ glensoutdoors.com

got 2 50 rd boxes of American Eagle by Federal 40 S&W 180 Grain FMJ shipped for $61. should be here next week.

came across a couple deals of large quantities (1000 rds) that I thought about seeing if anyone wanted to go in on...but didnt feel like going through the hassle.

oh, and I also ordered a 5 1/2 lb spring kit for the trigger from Apex Tactical Specialties...$25 shipped...should also be here next week

At lunch Olde English had Fereral 9mm for $19 a box. I bought two boxes of tul ammo 115 gr for $16 a box after taxes. Used to be in every Walmart for $9.99 a box last summer.

I looked into reloading recently. No much point now as they are twice the cost they were, you can't find popular dies, caps or sabots for loading. If you want to trade loaded for brass or buy 9mm brass PM me.

I left most of mine in Buildit's yard. I couldn't see the damn things because my eyes were watering from the wind blast.

I also used the excuse when I missed it was because of the wind blowing.

Yep. I was getting into it just before things went crazy. I inherited the press and brass tumbler, I bought a set of used dies from a guy online. It took me about three weeks to find all the components, but I now have enough to make about 2000 rounds and probably have that many in the safe.

If I get to a point where I need brass I may get ahold of you. I think by the time I need anything the storm will have passed. Then its time to stockpile more supplies for the next time.

Its really amazing to see how you can fine tune a round for the gun your shooting and how much just a couple tenths of a grain can affect your group of shots.

Play with your COL once in rifles to fine tune the bullet contacting the lands and that effects accuracy also.

I was at Walmart a few days ago, looking for .22LR or .223. They only had 8 boxes of 9mm and two guys in line. The first took five boxes. The second wanted one. As she was ringing up the second guy, the cashier asked me if I wanted the other two. I declined. With a quick sideways glance at me, the second guy took the last two.

My initial thought was that he didn't really want them, but was afraid someone else would.

Should have bought them and then sold them to the guy for twice what you paid.

Britton Road in Dublin. The cashier told me all the ammo that comes in is gone by 10 AM each day.

Thanks, I'll have to check them next time I'm over there. Walmarts near me havn't gotten anything in a while.

I actuall thought of making a comedy video of someone dreaming about the good old days of buying unlimited ammo at walmart.

No rifles here, just handguns. I don't know why but I have never had much interest in the rifles, maybe that will change once I shoot Indypups a few times.
