18 Feb 2009, Wednesday Evening
I took this pic after getting my tourist card at the crossing at Cd. Acuña. This is someone else's bike not mine. 125cc bikes are common in MEX. This pic was taken right at the immigration building. I haven’t had a border crossing problem in Mexico or Latin America yet. Probably comes from being able to speak the language fluently.

19 Feb 2009, Thursday Morning
This is the Allende checkpoint. The small white shack to the right is where you can obtain or cancel your vehicle permit if you did not get it at the border. Off to the right is the main building where you can likewise get your tourist card if you did not get it at the border. I obtained my vehicle permit via internet and courier ahead of time, and got my tourist card in Cd. Acuña the night before (see above).
