Hi!
Thanks for the support. Some more info. The wheels come from two different Hondas. The front wheel is from a VFR800i (1998 with dual CBS like the Dero). The rear wheel is from a CBR900 (1998) I think you can also use the FR/RR wheels from a CBR600 or CBR1100XX but I prefer the 6 spoke wheels. Minor changes must be done and obviously, they must be 100% reversible because I want to put it back on the dirt

Excellent, thanks a million man
I assume that you don't have any problem with the front fender, right? If you don't mind, which are those "minor changes" that are mentioning? Going back to the "powaaaaaaa" that you mentioned earlier let me tell you my mechanical mods ... 1. Crankshaft from VTR 2. Carburetors (48mm) from the same VTR, and 3. 6 gear box from a MK2 model All of the above were installed with practically no modifications what so ever and gave me a figure of 102 HP on the wheel ... Cheers

Iīm maybe going for the 6 speed gearbox some day. Is it the stock + 1 gear or the whole set of gears is different?

I was talking about the gearing itself... I mean, the first 5 gears ratio is the same in both GB or the 6 speed GB has a totally different gear ratio?

I like those tires so Iīll stick with the 40% dirt. Iīm not going to Dakar anyway...itīs for a random ride out and...slowly...250kg bikes donīt fill at ease in the sand/mud/dirt.

Hi Varadero Riders and friends of VIM,
I feel privileged that the VIM11 Orga Team has asked me to make the first announcement of the opening to the registration for VIM11 in Turkey! The registration process has been opened this morning. So... don't hesitate, and jump in right away: www.vim11.com And please spread the word on all Varadero Forums around the Planet in your own language! Further on this. This year, at VIM10, the Hungarian VIM orga team was unpleasant surprised by no less then 21 participants who 'just' showed up without pre- registration and registration. THIS IS NOT THE WAY WE DO IT. If you want to participate to VIM, you have to pre subscribe, and you have to pay your entry fee in advance. We have to be tough on this but keep in mind that the Orga Team has enough to deal with, since VIM has become more- and more popular with growing numbers of participants. If you don't pre- register and pay the entry fee before the deadline as set by the orga team: Sorry, but you have to stay home. For FAQ etc visit www.VIM11.com or www.varadero-international.com ![]() CU, Bernard 'Two Plugs', NL Founder of VIM. PS: sorry for the last message. Something went wrong and I can't delete my own postings... So I just changed the text in a '?'...
