Mefo or Heidenau? I love my rear Mefo, wore like 6000 miles and I'm getting another one. Kinda like the TKC front better than the Mefo though.

Yeh, You're right. Took me some times to decide. But now I'm pretty happy with my all purpose (40/60) Tyres. As I said here in West Europe there are far less free lands and open trails to decide to go wherever you want with more agressive tyres. Still with a good GPS and little bit a law codes readings ( You might find some fences in the middle of the trails for no reasons) you'll be good for a nice little round trip around the (X)Country.
Front Heidenaus K60 M+S (looks like the K60 scout) + Rear Metzeler enduro3 sahara.

I used the givi bracket. Doesn't look as good. But it makes it taller, plus with the headlight guard I have it works for me.
Took a four hour tour and really like the windshield!

Rear tire is a Dulop 606, front is a TKC 80. Dunlop is Very noisey on the road but great off road!
Love the TKC 80 on front.
Dunlop is almost gone at 3,000 miles
I'm going to try Heidenau scout next on rear.
It's sitting in garage just begging to be put on!!

Unfortunately, mixing tires is not allowed in Germany. So I have to find a pair of tires. Until now, I was quite happy with the TKCs, they work well for me almost everywhere. For a knobbie, the TKC is great onroad, it's even possible to scrape the pegs and it works well on most offroad tracks, but not in the mud. So I'm looking for a tire with a litte more offroad capabilities. I'd also appreciate a better mileage, the rear TKC last 2000 miles, the front 4000 miles.

Maybe I will try the Mitas E-09 Dakar next.
