I own and ride one now. Her name's Mona Lisa. Told my wife the story of this bike and she's the one to give my Multi the name.

It's been sitting in the showroom for two years, nobody wanted her since the 1100 came out. I got a good deal and she's been my girl for a good while. Kind of the same story regarding Da Vinci's work.

Multistrada, the best!

This thread needs more pics

I think the 1000 and 1100 are much better looking bikes than the new 1200. Here are some pics of friends bikes...

I have to agree. Now that the newness of the 1200 has settled down a bit, the trellis frame, exhaust and quirkiness of the prior model is much more interesting than the hideous proboscis on the current model. In fact, the 1200s form is so ugly to my eye, it outweighs any functional improvements in my mind.

My 620!

I bought this as a leftover in '08 and just love it! This is my daughter Alex, 13, going for her first ride with me!

I love the Multistrada but I am torn. She is sexy, but I am dirtier than she is, and she requires more maintenance. Just took a trip through Yellowstone and Teton NP and had a good time with her but the appointment for scheduled 7500 maintenance took some of the fun away.

1200 after a nose job

thought I'd post up my beat up 1200 after striking a deer - the front end was a bit of a mess, but I rode it another 2,000 miles looking just like this. The other side looked pretty normal, so my wife started calling it two face.

you're absolutely right, but your facility with quick reference to muppet characters is a bit scary

Just brought this one home, pic after its 1st detailing. Many mods to come but I love riding it already.

Here's my old 1100S and the new 1200S. I'm not crazy about the styling on the 1200, but it's a fantastic bike. The 1100's looks really grew on me, and it was one of the best-sounding bikes I've owned. The 1100's are great deals on the used market right now.
