Looks like a 1950 Chevy "Tin Woody". It'd wager that it was originally rwd then converted to 4wd at some point. Looks cool none the less.

Yes, it had to have been. Kind of a shame to adulterate it like that, too.

Maybe it was done before it became a collector's item.

Thinking that myself, don't see the NAPCO badges on the fenders, but who knows.

EDIT, don't see locking hubs, maybe a later conversion, front axle looks newer than the vintage of the truck
