Out on the road, the first longer ride... ~600kilometers in one day on very narrow and twisty roads.. lot's of fun!
Too bad one have to stop when meeting cars on narrow roads, no room for the sidecar..and the fuel consumption is rather high on the twisty and narrow mountain roads.

Pops, is that a home-brewed trail reducer in the second shot?
Neat and rugged looking outfit.

The beauty of sidecars is that they make everyone smile. Even people who have been run over.

Did the change cause a lot of difference in the handling?

Too soon to tell. Doesn't seem like it. It lifts easily on right turns, but it always did. The old suspension was much lighter than what I replaced it with, so I think it comes out about even as far as R turn lift. I haven't really thrown it into a left turn yet and I haven't ridden it with a passenger, but so far it seems to handle OK for what it's intended use is.

Frank Hubbard's ZX600 Kawasaki with Hannigan Conte Classic sidecar. This little bugger performs quite well. Bike has over 75,000 miles on it. Frank stopped by our shop in Pa. on his return from Arizona. He does put the milee on.
