Ha Ha.
I was having a look at some old photos and found one of our sidecar we built in the 70s.

And another one we built for the kids.

Well, the friend with the R67/3 R67/2-S250 outfit was at my place the other day, so I could take it for a little testride. I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised of the handling of this old stuff. We got the setup right in one go. It's not a powerbike of course but it has enough muscle to pull the outfit along nicely, even uphill, thanks to the short gearing and even has proper brakes.

Some better quality pics as promised:

Here's my Jawa

I have an old 81 Jawa that I have recently fixed up. It blew a piston years ago and I had put it aside. Turns out it required me to rebuild the entire crank and top end. Quite the winter project.

It's got the classic Jawa trademarks: fully enclosed rear chain, interchangable wheels, shifter/clutch/kickstart in one lever, 6V dynamo system.....

I also had a JAWA Velorex 560 sidecar that had been crashed and stored outside for years, becoming a bio-dome for wildlife. Used to be on my RZ350 and XS650 (which I drove year round in Canada = salt roads and -30 not good for the bike, sidecar or me) Every bearing on the engine and chassis replaced, reconstructed sidecar frame and lots of wet sanding in the cold days of Feb. New Metzeler 18" sidecar tyres for the bike and a nice base/clear paintjob. See link for my youtube clip of it in action.....

This is my 07 Patrol, after the powder coating and CJ750 tank. The tank was not powder coated...

Awesome!!!

I built this bike and gave it to some friends for their wedding. Totally cool to see it out and about.
