it's a bad idea, poorly executed. It handles like a drunken pig. It may be just too much lean out, I need to fuss with it to find out. We had a ton of fun and drove over some challenging terrain, but it was almost unmanageable at times. We drove four hours Saturday, but the only other vehicle we saw was a dirt bike about 30 minutes out. I would not try this in traffic...

( but it was fun)

Perhaps I will get scolded for suggesting such a thing due to it's impure nature, but what about using telescoping aluminum poles? They could be 1/2 to 1/3 the length of the wood poles during travel and maybe lighter and narrower too.

For Sale

It's not an outfit, but that red Cagiva Triumph is bootiful, won prizes at a few events. How much does spring to mind with that "For Sale" tag on.

That could be made to work, but I will either tune this set up until it works or the tipi will be reserved for car camping and I will go back using my dome tent on the bike. This is a just for fun exercise; my large tipi's for the Tipi Tour and other events will go ahead of the bikes on a truck and we will meet up at camp

Just about done with my Dirtster Hack . It is a 07 883 Sportster that I am hacking with an home-built / Ural cargo box car. I have had it out without the body on it and she handles great!! Big thanks to DMC for the great mounts.

When she told me she lived in Columbia and I should visit her there that was more than I needed to know. Daddy is probably some cartel lord or something.

Claude,
The picture of David's was at the restaraunt where we ended up eating and the picture of mine is at the first place we stopped.

I still can't get all of that mud off of that thing either.
