It handles very well. it has progressive springs and heavy oil in the forks. A works shock on the rear. simple and i can go solo easy.

Looks like the stock rear wheel there Claude, so probably no alteration of gearing. Still enough power to pull through against the wind at high speeds and uphill?

NO big deal at all in pulling a sidecar with any of the oilhead GS bikes. The typical car tire used would be a 165/80x15 which does not present an issue although some use a 155. No sweat in any case.

No. Location is not REALLY my preference but it will do fine. The tank comes on and off easily and will probably only be used from time to time.

It s up to allow the gas to run it to the tank without the pump

I've been trying to get this one back on the road since late 2008 or so.
Maybe this year...

It has changed in appearance since the pic was taken.
Mostly for the better.
