From Greeves Days 2011:

This guy (the owner/builder of this sidecar rig) operates it much better than I do. I almost crashed it into a motorhome when the chair went up causing the bike to go left instead of right like I intended... LOL

Well Hello Julia! At first I wasn't sure who you could be, until you mentioned the motorhome... (which incidentally was hers)! I had no idea you were into Husqvarna also, I've got a 72 450.

Talk about pissing off the Greeves Owners, I'd be hesitant to bring one to a gathering. I pissed Frank off enough with the sidecar- such blasphemy!
He did give me his blessings in the end, maybe next year I can shuttle him from section to section.

Yes Clearwater it is light. The 1960 Greeves was just over 200lbs and more than 20 of that is flywheel. The uber rare 560 Utility tub probably keeps the whole rig around 350lb. Power to weight ratio, horsepower to pounds. It gets pretty light in the loose stuff, slicing and dicing like a swift battle axe. Sometimes I feel like I'm Dave Bickers... on three wheels!

Any for sale?

These bikes are wonderful! I would love to buy a older black bike with side car, if anyone would be willing to part with theirs.

I got to run that rig around the block last Saturday.

It's a hoot. Big GS rig & one of those. That's all I need.

Today was the Beatrixrun. The first of many sidecar outings with mentally challenged people. Done a nice route of approx 100 miles through the "bollenstreek" A region where flower bulbs are grown. Due to the dry hot spring we haven't seen any flowers. But we Where with over 100 sidecars, and i have made some pictures.

My favorite, Guzzi/Armec

The crowd, every orange flag represents a sidecar which arrived on time, The have less than 100 flags

I noticed that i have to improve my camera settings, 640x480 is very convenient, but not so sharp.
