self built leaner sidecar

Just finished leaner sidecar just windscreen .A little heavy but handles gteat.Need to use sidecar brake on lefthand corners slowing down

Hi that is a crazey rig , is that a tractor front tire on that old rig I have been told that type of tire is a good steer tire for mud.
That is a lot differant to your currant rig .
Nice one though from the past .

old sidecar

G`Day It is a small tractor tyre the centre bead is grooved to give it more flex. It doesn`t do much steering just balances the bike, steering is by using power. It was geared for about 110 mph at 10000revs.I used michellin car tyres for road racing.The only bike to pass me where the 500cc and 750 cc yamaha 2stroke road racing motors .

John, Jay, and I SCOURED the internet trying to find something better
John (jpalamar) still wants a wire wheel that will "carry" this tire and maybe one day we'll let WOODY make one for us
but, i'm happy with these
