Here is the rig I picked up in Missouri to get back home.

I'm looking forward to reading the ride report for this one too!!!

Hi Sara,

Not much of a ride report on this one because I didn't have much time to take pictures. I left work early on a Thursday and had the Sportster in Cedar Rapids Iowa the next afternoon. Had to run interstate north out of Ga to make time. I camped just inside Indiana and hit the back roads through Indiana and Illinois to the new owners house near Cedar Rapids Iowa. Then I rented a car, drove to Kansas City and picked up the BMW and then hit back roads all the way home. I only hit interstate to cross the Mississippi and get around Chattanooga. Made it home Sunday night around 11:00 p.m. About 2300 miles for the long weekend.

My original plan was to deliver the Sportster via a trip around the U.P. of Michigan and fly home. However I found the BMW and decided to go that route instead.

Are you going to the old school fall rally?

Even with all the crazy upkeep, this little rig gets me through some pretty tough days....

Custome Everything Sidecar on a 1942 Harley-Davidson Model U:

Built to compete at Sturgis. Finish is said to be 20 layers of clear coat over titanium foil. Note the wooden seat....

Now all I have to do is sell my house and live in a tepee.
