2003 CSR 'long chassis' Formula 1 powered by a 2004 CBR1000RR ported and flowed to a paltry 180+ horsepower. http://blog.badcatracing.com

Cool2 One off

Here's a pic of the K100 rig just after I brought it home.

I learned the hard way just how tough it is to make progress on a project that someone else executed and abandoned.

Steering system: reworked and engineered to turn a true circle.
Braking system: reworked, linked, simplified.
Original rims scrapped and replaced along with tires.
Seating position made more comfy.
Fuel capacity increased to 16 gallons.
The list goes on, and on. I really should have started this myself, but it would have been a crime to let the fine chassis fabrication go to the scrapheap like one of this fellows other projects. So I 'saved' it. Oh well, it was just money. Lots of money.

And if anyone was wanting to send me a small suitcase full of cash-ola, dream on. This puppy is going to be FUN.

Bumblebike, I saw your k-rig at the Wood auction at Mid-Ohio a few Years back. Is that where you got it?
I took several pics a looked it over a long time. I'm glad somebody is going to get it on and off? the road. The builder did a huge amount of work.

Go to the Badcat blog site -
http://s126310470.onlinehome.us/

Scroll down to "Racetracks" on the right hand side of the page.

Hey, Badcat... can you email me when you go to Pacific Raceways?
I have been wanting to go see sidecar racing, and if you're there I'll
come by and say Hi.

I'd even give a shot at being a hack monkey... but I don't have leathers
or a new enough helmet (whew!)

Sidecars let's see 'em

The mirrors are almost constantly on E-Bay. they're called headlight mirrors. About $90.00/pair on E-Bay if I remember right.

Yeah, I think you're right.
It still looks like he's no longer in contact with the sidecar rig
(look at his feet and the seat of his leathers).
Looks fun though.
