If you want to see a picture (from my previous post), check out kevin's page at scrambler cycle in WI. He set up the car for me, and does great work.

Nice, Mike! I have a Velorex 562 on an '06 KLR650. What are you using for a shock on your Velorex? The stock one is waaay overloaded/undersprung with a 180 lb passenger in the car, and I'm looking for something to replace the stocker.

Northwest - Your pick reminds me a little of my old 1100GK dresser. I loved those bulletproof Suzuki motors.

We made the trip to Tasmania to pick up our new toy and my first ride of an outfit, an experience to say the least. After a few km's it all started to feel a bit more natural

HRD Sidecar, not sure if it's a 1.5 or 2 person, it's big!

On the ferry tomorrow night, then back to Sydney

Wow! And I thought my rig was wide! Looking good though.

Just got this together

1980 GL1100 with 63K. Early 80's Motorvation Formula II with manual torsion bar lever. Brand new to sidecars and really enjoying it! Won't take my driving test until July so it's strictly solo for now.

Nice sidecar. The old style manual torsion bar levers worked quite well. Note that if you have the old style ball and collet lower mount connections you should keep and eye on them or possibly replace them at some point.

Saddly, looks like the intruder will either be getting a new (ebay) engine or a rebuild and I had a friend who was really wanting the sidecar so his wife would be more comfortable. He picked it up yesterday. I sure hated to see it go, but I didnt need two rigs. I will see it again in a few days, I am going to the ROT Rally in Austin Tx and he will be there and have it installed on his bike.

I've noticed that. A lot of Aussie rigs are quite wide, my Strom rig is as wide as a Toyota Landcruiser. Works well on our dirt tracks.
