Geez DaveBig, let us know how you really feel. :-)

I would really freak you out with the rig I'd like to build. I would take Claude's Steib lookalike tub, combine it with a higher clearance GS style frame and mount it to either a DL1000 or an 1150GS/A.

Great for both wet rainy weather, and hot sunny weather. Handles worse than most other rigs when you get a puncture!

I'm an insufferable harsh critic ! It's a nice rig but not to my taste at all,I've always wanted a Brit bike but it would have to be a Thunderbird Sport or Trident and a smallish tub on a light chassis so it would have some power .Paint a Union Jack on her and a Churchill quote perhaps “Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.”
