Don't want to be annoying, but in fact it looks like a K100 with a EML GT2. (one of the latest models) and even the shocks are EML. I doubt about the springs.

I really like the Vetter air vent in the sidecar on the right side. That works great, I can tell you, wenn it gets a bit warmer.

Allmost old school, but made in Holland Good hack for sure.

I shot these pictures at this year’s Elefantenrally in Bavaria, Germany. (On Wednesday and it was not snowing yet). It’s a Kawasaki KLX with THREE-wheel-drive and is home-built by a Frenchman.

Beautiful story.

Talk about thinking outside of the box. This guy doesn't acknowledge that there is a box in the first place! Bravo!

My Deco

Here's the '97 Ural Deco I bought last week. It needs some work to get it back on the road after hibenating for a number of years (carb cleaning, tank cleaning, fluids change, etc).

All the best,
Chris

This is my 3 wheeler. I bought it a couple of years back and have gradually been replacing bits and pieces and between times enjoying carting the kids around.

It is a Suzuki GSX1100G with a locally made leading link front end (and the shaft gearing altered for chair use) with a HRD Grand Rally 1.5 seater fitted.

It's not an adventure tourer but looking at all the GS BMW's with ural type sidecars has got me thinking

Land, I really like the paint job on that Deco.

Also, GS + Ural car =

I'm about to do my first extended tour on the beast. I gave up my R1200GSA to my friend and we're heading for Vermont together in the next week. I can't wait!

G'day Geoff.

The general welcome is "Welcome to the asylum".
Where are you at Geoff? Is it a full Ron Hurdis build?

There are a few oz outfit riders amongst the yanks & euros. I've got a wish to visit either Europe or the US and do some winter riding. Or maybe just some sidecar shopping!

Oh yeah - fill out ya profile - before someone yells at ya, bloke! Hunsta may be lurking!

Thanks for the welcome to the asylum, I really joined up because I'm trying to decide what sort of adventure tourer I want to replace the Bandit 1200S I recently sold with but when I saw the sidecar thread I couldn't resist posting.

As for my rig it's not one of the late model Highway Sidecars HRD's, but the chassis looks a bit different from my friends K100/HRD 1.5 so to be honest I'm not sure if it's a full Ron Hurdis build or not.

I can't claim to be an outfit expert, this is only my 2nd sidecar rig and most of my bikes have been solos. Oh and I filled in my profile as requested.

Pretty new here too, but:

I’v been looking around in some profiles here, and I suddenly realised I’m also one of the 40 – 50 years “old farts“ that is posting here.

That’s good, isn’t it?

Richard-NL

OK, that was off-topic, but still.........
