I've also got a former hack pic:

And the same hack in traffic jam.

These are cool.

I got to ride a friends a few weeks ago. I had not been in a side car since back when I had a real job as a mechanic.

Streets Of Willow, Willow Springs California

The above rig is a Becker Moto Works set up. Gixxer one million motor. Way, way too fast for my tired old self. I was pretty sure inside the first thirty seconds I was going to die. I lasted two laps before I was a quivering bag of sweat and nerves.

The above is what it should look like, below is what a fat guy sausaged into his old leathers looks like as monkey...

Way back when I helped to put together a few street rigs that were fun,

This is a guy I worked with and lived near me at the time. This was a customer bike that we converted from a terrible restoration to a semi-modern set up. Copy of a BMW factory car, /6 R75 motor, ears die hard battery. 12v system.
Winter in Denver

An EML and K100RT/LT built at the shop.

HAVE A FLICK THROUGH,ITS VERY INTERESTING IF YOU LIKE THAT TYPE OF OUTFIT,IT THE SORT OF THING I WANT TO DO WITH MY V-STROM
Hiya Chairhead, Thanks for putting me on to that German Website, I will spend hours now just looking at their outfits. You must be the guy building that V strom outfit? Could I have a look at your V strom one day? Only work two days a week now, but come down to Wales quite often in the van. I am a very old (72) guy who is interested in sidecars. Raced them in sidecar motocross for well over 20 years, and my late son Marc for another 20 years. Always made our own outfits from tubing, sometimes also the bike frames. Built over 30 in my time. Built this one in 1975 but used a Wasp frame and forks, but with my own chassis. Used a works Norton 850cc Commando engine. I worked as a development engineer on the Commando's at the Norton factory in Wolverhampton in the 70s. Sorry the picture was too big to load onto the site!!!! Just started to get the parts together for this KTM LC 4 sidecar project.

Cheers........John Wolverson. johnnywolvo@aol.com

PS I like your welding!!!

Boring stuff again. You’ve probably seen it a dozen times allready. Sorry for that.

Uh? It's not an Ural with a Dauntless subframe in case you wonder....

It's an HU! Ugly, isn't it?

That passenger behind the Becker on 19, craning his head up to keep it in frame?

Yeah, that's me.

There's a VHoldR on my helmet, I went back through my archived footage of that weekend and sadly I couldn't find anything with you in it on the back of the 184.

Glad you enjoyed yourself out there.
