Four Paw Travel book

There are some amazing pictures on this thread! I'm a dog magazine author and also write books. http://LorraineChittock.com. Right now I'm putting together Four Paw Travel, a handbook for people traveling with their mutts by motorcycle, vehicle, horse and boat. Most of this travel is international, but not exclusively. I'm especially looking for motorcyclists who've traveled extensively (six months at a time) with their dogs. Yes, I've spoken with Punky and Lou, and a couple in Holland. But I need MORE of you!!! Please contact me if you're interested in being in a book, and answering a questionnaire to share what you've learnt on the road.

I'm currently traveling with my two dogs in South America and you can see more info at either http://OnaMissionFromDog.com or http://OnaMissionfromDog.com/dogblog.htm

If your speaking of the soft-mesh Doggles, they work great. No notable problems for the dogs and easy enough to get them used to wearing such. I have never had a problem with dry eye syndrome from use of the soft-mesh Doggles, but that is sort of a hard thing to check for in a dog, I suspect.

The price of these were cheaper than the standard Doggles. (Haven't checked lately to see if prices went up or not, over time). They don't scratch on lenses as the standard Doggles can. They fold up and are easier to store away and can be washed if one wanted to do such.

Cool2 Hard to get

Have been checking for the softmesh doggles over here in good ol' Holland, but everybody is selling just the normal doggles (most petshops I called didn't even have a clue what I was talking about). I can order them at Doggles in the US, but then have to pay over $ 50 just for shipping per UPS (they only cost $ 10 ).
There is one internet-shop here that sells them though, but they don't have the blue ones, just the orange . It can't be the intention that my dog's eye-protection hurts my eyes, can it?
Well, as a momentarily last resort there is a uk-based webshop that appears to sell them, but their webshop doesn't work well. Sent them a mail and wait and see. Postage from the UK should be a lot less than $ 50.

Any suggestions to get some at a reasonable price are welcome

Hack Pups

These are my two, Bella and Boomer. They really dig riding in the hack! So far, their feelings about the Doggles are mixed. They do well with them for the most part, but want them off as soon as they get out. I know they help a lot though. With them on, they will both face head-on to the wind, ears a' flappin'. I need to find a small windscreen that I can mount further forward on the car. The stock screen makes it too cramped for both of them.
