The IT 175 was the most enjoyable bike I've ever owned but living in Canada and riding the trails had a lot to do with it. It was sure perfect for those old trails though.

Kx 500

It's still hard to beat an open class two stroke in this environment!

Well damm. This one stumped me. A 2-strokes I've never heard of. Rugged looking mule too. Had to do some googling.

Pretty cool history http://www.bikez.com/brand/index.php?brand=72

and they're still around http://www.izhmoto.ru/eng/planet

Just out of curiosity, How'd you get your hands on it?

eBay, someone had it in the US in a crate brand new; 20 years old (5kms from factory). I went through it and running great. After about a month - 1100 kms! Very nice ride with a certain ease about it. Nice little "dual sport" from birth...

Two strokes are the "classics" and fourstokes are a new trend eh?
Must be a newbie here for sure!

Here is a pic of my project. It's a Chimera, part RZ350, part RGV 250. Think if it as a RZ350 with real tires, suspension and brakes.

This is not my bike, but i do have one in the basement to restore. My grandfather bought me one of these in 1976, its a 1975 Yamaha RS100, had the matching helmet and low miles. Really wanted a Dt model, he really didnt know,i pretty much abused this bike and it just ran and ran. I was looking for some old rms and came across a 1980 rm100 and a 1975 yam rs100 on the same trailer and yet bought both for $250, it was a great day for me.
