Yeah, the F650 did okay even with Tourances. Those tires wanted to pack up in the mud so I was a little more careful.

Anybody know if this route(s) are rideable on a 1200GS?
Kinda pieced 2 routes together from someone elses posts of some tracks.

Just cruising through
I am in NC, one guy from Destin and one from JAX. DR650, XR650L (both with TKC's), and a 1200GS with street tires.
We are just wanting to do some easy riding out of Tallahassee and not end up lifting the GS out of deep sand or going to the ER. I don't even want to pick up the DR as far as that goes. Looking more for something mostly hardpacked or manageable for all the bikes. Thanks for the help.

Something I've learned about the ANF: the roads north of SR267 are very heavily used by locals and are very bad. Don't bother going off the pavement until you are south of that. The roads around the wilderness areas tend to be good.
