That was an awesome ride, Sccaauugghhtt. It had been too long!

Yeah, the F650 did okay even with Tourances. Those tires wanted to pack up in the mud so I was a little more careful.

My black trailer

Jeff:

John wants to ride up to Sccaauugghhtt's

I told him that we would

I'm thinking about hauling my Baghira behind the Wing

That way I can at least take a few beers with me

Are you gonna make it?

I'm gonna remove the bed from my smallest trailer and install a rail in its place. You wanna meet me at The Scrub to take pics of the rig crossing the sand pit out front?

Anybody know if this route(s) are rideable on a 1200GS?

Kinda pieced 2 routes together from someone elses posts of some tracks.

Anything we should avoid or change to go see?

Thanks in advance

Just cruising through

I am in NC, one guy from Destin and one from JAX. DR650, XR650L (both with TKC's), and a 1200GS with street tires.
We are just wanting to do some easy riding out of Tallahassee and not end up lifting the GS out of deep sand or going to the ER. I don't even want to pick up the DR as far as that goes.

Looking more for something mostly hardpacked or manageable for all the bikes.

Thanks for the help.

Looks like it. Motogirl want's to ride up Friday, I'm leaning more towards taking the truck and the KLX as the GS is in street shoes. Plus, we all know what happens when I ride the GS in the sand. I'll let you know more later.

Sr 267

Something I've learned about the ANF: the roads north of SR267 are very heavily used by locals and are very bad. Don't bother going off the pavement until you are south of that. The roads around the wilderness areas tend to be good.

It looks like we will have a couple of Poverty Riders joining us. Billy and Stormy want to hang with us. I'm trucking the KLX in so let me know if there is anything you want me to bring in addition to the usual crap I haul around. I plan on telling my boss to fuck off on Friday so I will leave here early and be there sometime in the early afternoon.
