Sorry I didn't get a photo of you in this exercise, Vern. I was too busy running for my life !

(actually I was very pleased with everyone in this class. The swerve is one of the most important exercises in the program. It is a proven, save your butt skill that every sidecar pilot should master. Everybody in the class nailed this one during the driving test at the end of the day. Good work!)

Big thanks!! to Vernon and Monica for a terrific introduction to sidecars. Everything about the weekend was excellent. Vernon and Monica are enthusiastic and most helpful. The three rigs were just "different" enough that we could benefit from switching from time to time. Vernon's wife, Amy, kept us full of liquids and snacks. We all enjoyed each other's' company and spirit. Hood River is a beautiful spot, and the boardsailers are amazing to watch.

I highly recommend this class to anyone the least bit interested or intrigued by sidecars! It's the best way to find out if this is something you want to pursue, and get to spend a meaningful amount of time on different rigs to help you decide what is right for you. We all thought this class qualified as an outstanding three-day summer vacation.

Kinda like band camp....but different!

3 rigs? What were they running? When I took my class it was 2 KLRs and 2 Bandits - and dont' get me started on how much I didn't like those Bandits!

I took the wife up to Vernon's class. She wanted to gain some skills and get comfortable with the new rig. She said "I am really glad we came it was a lot of fun and I feel much more comfortable."

Vernon and Monica did a good job and the class did very well I thought. No runs, hits, or errors ... so thats says some thing about the class and teachers.
