That's a whole other dilemma...

The more I look at this Velorex the more I realise I'd rather use a Ural chair, or anything more substantial than the Velorex.

The Velorex won't be a complete loss as it has decent resale value and came with an unobtanium English built leading link front end that'll be put to good use whichever sidecar I end up hanging off the R90.

How's your R60/5 shaping up? Did you get a chance to ride it?

See you at 0900.

Bino's got discount tickets for us if we get to the truckstop before they leave.

I don't know squat about tubs.....but it looks good as a two wheeler.

Ive ridden around the neighborhood, but its still not registered. I've just had two many projects to deal with mixed with work. I'll have it out come spring though.

Plan to be a the show sometime tomorrow. You only there in the morning?

Just say it- you transplanted a KTM front end on it and are ashamed to admit it

A Moto-Guzzi Eldorado restoration project is rearing it's head as a possibility again. Problem is, until we relocate I've got nowhere to even keep it, nevermind actually work on it. I'd really like to get this thing and sort it out.

As some of you know I had a '72 Eldorado in my distant yoot and I'd love to have another one.

What to do, what to do?

Pass on it. I'll deal with the burden for you. I'm not moving anytime soon.

That's what friends are for.

Do it! That way I can live vicariously through your pain.

Bring it west and I will do you powder coating (if you like your bikes powdered)

I had an old Eldarado about 15 years ago but was too poor to restore that and my Laverda so I sold it.

Fast forward 14 years and while at a coffee shop on the restored Laverda a guy strikes up a conversation, turns out he bought the goose from the guy I sold it too and was just finishing the restoration. He tells me I was lucky to sell it as a bearing had spun in the motor and someone did a bush job on repairing it, he had to find a new motor and now it doesn't have matching numbers.

Still doesn't quench the thirst of wanting another old Guzzi.
