One of my favorite all time bikes. Did you redo the engine, like a CCM?

No, the engine is stock except for electronic spark and a start battery. I thought about making some of the CCM changes including the fin cutting, then decided to leave it stock. Funny about the B50s as they were one of the most beautiful bikes, but were ten years behind the rest of the early 70s MX machines.
I finished this one last December and put it in the house as an "object du art" because it upset my wife so much. Need to find time to put oil in it and get it sorted out, but I am having too much fun when my wife has people over explaining the avant guard nature of the art piece.

Restored Husky CR250
Here is a picture of a restored Husky I finished. Back in the day I used to drool over these at Mission Hills Husqvarna in the Valley. Could never afford one back then. This was near factory iron back then.

vintage dirt riding books
Wow! Look what I 'found' on my bookshelf, that I forgot I had!
Carl Shipman's "Boonie Book," H.P. Publishing, 1974. (High-Point Publishing, aka Super Hunky/DIRT BIKE magazine. These have that look.) "Championship Enduro," Booth/Palermo, HP, 1977. A how-to-ride Enduros book, but also a record of the Al Eames/Dick Burleson years... Ossas,Pentons,Can-Ams,Hodaka,PE,IT,Preston Petty, etc. [Knute: B rider, IT175, then PE400] A blast from the past, Marty. [Betcha they are worth a lil $$$, besides.] Ya want me to scan and post some pics??

Cool books, but Dirt Bike Mag was "Hi Torque", not "High Point".
