You want to go read this, I think the "affected" engines serial numbers are there. I spent a while on the phone with the owner yesterday, I am glad he is OK, wheel locks at speed are never much fun.

Watch out....Gory pics.

Anyone with a lead on a good clean K1200 engine...not a 98 unless a later one with "possibly" improved Conrods, we'll look into it! US/Canada, East better. RS/GT maybe even possibly an LT. No E-Bay links please, we have been there already, amongst other places.

for your viewing pleasure. I'm sure somebody will appreciate all the work that went into this creation....something like a cross between BMW, Speed Triple, Monster. Not mine.....just saw in parking lot at Bi-Mart.

my k1100rs

I aquired a very low miles 1994 BMW K1100 rs today. Took it on trade for my 09 HD heritage softail. I don't know that I will keep it, but I am sure impressed with it. Only has 13K miles. Very fast, (ok next to my harley and My GS everything seems fast) and smooth as silk.

bike

Hey thank you Bob. It is a wonderful machine. I don't believe I will keep her. I need a bike for the TAT trip next year. This is way too fast for an old man like me. I am a GS kind of person and am probably going to be purchasing a late model adventure. This allowed me to sell my Softail with the hope of getting what I need total if I sell this bike. I think this is a bike that should not be hard to sell ...clean as a pin and only 13K miles. Send me a pm if you want me to price it too you. I need a 650 thumper like a DR or XR
