Yep, that my '03 LT-C!
After the top case was removed, the ol' LT really came to life!

I just can't decide which color looks better on her..

Put on a K1100 transmission on my '85 K100 as my second gear was screwed. No problems, the gear indicator had a different connect so I put the old one on. Lubed the spline while I was at it. A sawhorse and 8mm guide bolts are a great help!

Good decision. Aside from the paralever strut mounts, the transmissions are identical except that the K1100 transmission has the later harder splines on the input shaft.

Revamped it with my home Garage paint job. 100,000 miles and still going strong.

You know, I have been following them K1200RS long enough and never saw a need for a synchronization. However many had vacuum leaks so yes may not be a bad idea just to see if that checks OK.

If anyone has played with the screws.....all bets are off.

If you come to the K-bikes forum, there are a couple that have such devices and have experimented with them on their throttle bodies. They'll be there....! I do have such a device but never used it on my K1200RS however I'd be interested in what they have to say.

See you there....maybe!

http://www.k-bikes.com

Funny I was just thinking about that lately, and maybe dust off the old device, about the only thing I haven't tinkered with on that bike. There is a method posted for the earlier bikes but there may be some other considerations for ours so.....experts needed.

Hello Mikey it's Pappy

[QUOTE=MikeyT;14466457]I bought this 90 K75RT in July, to supplement/replace my 86 Concours. So far it's great.

My humble submission. Fresh paint and A service. New back tire in the garage waiting for the knuckle sacrifice required for installation.

I love the General Store! Is it still only open for dinner on Mondays?? Oh, how I miss the Monterey Bay Area

Any clue why k-bikes seem to be more affordable in California than elsewhere in the country?
