question for those with k1300gt..
I have one and i keep going back and forth on selling it for one major reason. My left knee hurts really bad after twenty mins in this riding position. RT feels fine for hours though.. So to try to make my knee stop hurting i raised the seat all the way up, then put my bead rider back on to try and get me even higher to straighten my leg out more ( dont know why i took off the beads they are great) Im concerned about lowering the pegs, i dont want to scrape them all over the place. i have not scraped the stock pegs so those of you that lowered your pegs (if anyone) have you scraped on some spirited riding? Anybody have any other ideas? Thanks

That bike was sold through Gateway? I've bought a bike and a bunch of gear from Honz and didn't know that. How'd that come about?

First saw it on here, when Jesse put it up for sale. Tried to buy it from him, but fortunately, that didnt happen (mucho dinero!). A couple of months later, i found it for sale on CycleTrader, for a much more reasonable price. That was in Feb of 09. I emailed Gateway and said I was interested, worked out a deal, waited a week for the temps to get back up above freezing, and then flew out to St. Louis. Honz had someone pick me up from at the airport and we did the deal. Honz is a great guy, by the way. I told him to keep the studded tires, as i didnt need them in SoCal .Honz was laughing that after he bought the bike in SoCal, that a guy from there would come out to MO and take it back. It hadnt been at their showroom for very long (I think). He had tried to arrange to have it shown at the Long Beach Bike show, but that deal fell thru. It was in the high 30s when I left St. Louis, so I headed for Texas as quick as I could! And, that's the whole story!
