Nice.
Why didn't you remove the side cases? And how many motorcycle parts were you able to scrape the tarmac with? I used to own the same exact Capo. And anytime I'd ride it in a more "spirited" way scrapings were inevitable.

But to me even more important then the extra light to see by when dark, during daylight if you have them on high, virtually no one mistakes them for a porch light or car far off as they do with the Capo headlight alone. This mod reduced the number of people pulling out right in front or turning left into me 100% so far. Well worth it in my book

Recently finished 700+ miles on a trip from Chicago to Traverse City and back, and I did some exploring of some of the sand roads up that way on my Capo. The bike didn't miss a beat, but loose sand and a heavy bike was pretty challenging on Tourances. The only casualty of the trip was a broken spoke on the rear wheel.

Got a set of Shinko 705's put on my Capo just before a 4000 mile, six day trip and they look good. Looks like another 4k easy for the rear and the front still looks new. Only negative is the front screams like a banshee at 80+ mph but, hey, earplugs are great.
