800 miles, about to have the first mini-service. Non-abs model.

Reason for sale is I ride infrequently and it was an impulse purchase on getting rid of my GS. It will just be seeing garage time as my GS did as my Beta 400RR gets the occasional use these days at my ability level and I don't have an application for this lovely bike .

Taken as a part trade for my R1200GS with 325 miles put on it by the Bristol Motorrad sales manager commuting (so it is pre-reg to Bath Rd Motorcycles), I have had this bike since September and only used it to pop into work a few times. Fun on the road like a bigger moto, on the trails I don't know as it hasn't been offroaded. They are very well regarded by owners, however. This is the Aprillia build and has the original Rotax engine, so it's not 'chinese' .

It is as new with added:
Acerbis hand guards
Touratech mesh headlight guard
Touratech bash plate with reticulate foam
Touratech small rear rack
Accessory socket
TT foam air filter
TT side-stand assist
TT side stand bracket protection hard part
TT adjustable gear lever (with spare TT F650GS lever)
Spare brake/clutch levers
Lower X-moto seat (with original seat)

The tail has been tidied by rear fender chop mod, looking better IMO than the commercially available solutions. The flap for the air shock has been packed out and slightly modified to prevent the rubbing issue.

The first service is ok up to in excess of 1k miles so I will either get that done by Bath Rd now or the buyer may like to ride the bike for a few miles and check everything is to their liking and then get their local dealer or Bath Rd to do the first service (I will check rates, inclusivity of service in price etc etc) to ensure everything is to their own liking.

Parts not for sale separately.

£5400 ono

Selling this will probably be second biggest mistake I will make, first being parting with my 12GS

PM if interested or for further info.
£5k plus ....

They were not that new - even with the bits ...?

They go for around 3-4k tops ...

Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for that bump. I must admit I have been considering the price and there may be some amendment. They were listed around £6k, dealers discounted down the last few left. Now not available only at full prices as far as I understand on special order, and the bits worth a fair few hundred. By the way, I have no idea what I actually paid for this as I took it in exchange for a GS. The figures become blurred.

Note the 'ONO'.

But if anyone finds one virtually unused in warranty for £3k with all the TT bits, buy it, you don't have to buy this one . There are 1 or 2 others for sale, AFAIK.

They were just under £6k new when first launched, the last new one in the UK sold late last year for £5,750.

A good standard X-Challenge on 800 miles should be worth the best part of £5k, more with all of the extra's fitted to this one.

The cheapest of the three G650's was the X-Country at just under £5,500 IIRC. Ther'e an updated lower seat version now available for just under £5k but has nowhere near the offroad potential of the X-Challenge.

FS/T London W2 - Husky TE610e Farkled

I'm thinking about selling (or trading + cash for an 1100/1150GS) my 99 Husqvarna TE610e. I need something more in the touring camp. I'll get some pics sorted later tonight

Bike is totally sorted - under 9k kilos from new. Bought off a dealer in Norwich less than 1k kilo ago - they did a full service on the bike so everything is fresh(adjusted cam chain, checked valves, replaced all fluids, etc.). This has the same dual sport oriented 577cc lump & wide ratio 6 speed as the current models (minus FI of course) - but mine also has kick & elec start! Taxed through the end of the year, but I think it needs an MOT soon (will pass no problemo).

In London - asking 2500 GBP with all the farkles (I'm in about 3,000) - open to offers and/or trade for GS, KTM ADV, or maybe even a Transalp, WeeStrom, Honda Pan Eruro or BMW tourer. Looking to stay under 4k total though...

Farkles

17l Acerbis safari tank - VERY RARE - had to source this one from OZ. Last one I saw for sale in the states went for like $700+!!! Mine does have a few scratches and a part that was previously plastic welded, but throw some new decals on and you'll never notice

TechnoFlex rear shock - These husky's were notoriously soft from the factory. HM Racing replaced the stocker with the TechnoFlex plus heavier spring (for 200+ LBS rider) which has adjustable rebound, damping, preload, everything. Also has heavier front springs and with fresh oil. (work was only a few weeks ago).

Carb Jetting - Also done by HM Racing. Not sure exactly what jets they used, but the dealer in Norwich definitely had her running rich. Runs like a top now and I have Dyno charts to prove it! (also done by HM a few weeks ago).

WRP fat bars and risers - medium bend and all blacked out - looks nice.

Included but not fitted - original shock & tank/shrouds, Acerbis hand guards. Negotiable - SatNav Garmin 2610 w/ CityNav v7 & power lead for hardwiring.

Shoot me a PM!

Husky TE610e

Secondarily - I could return it back to the stock tank and rear shock and let it go for the around 1500-1700 quid. Still a great bike, but the uprated suspension and tank range really make it an outstanding bike.

Shoot me an offer

This post is totally un-needed, it is up to the vendor to set his price and any prospective buyer to accept it or make an offer.

You have no reason to try to undermine a sale that another inmate is trying to make.

Remember what my old Gran used to say "If you can't say anything nice - don't say anything at all".
