Well, I ride a 98 Tourer with 96K on it right now. I got it new. Sure do like it. Getting it ready for another big season. Should have it near both coasts and near both borders this year.

Sometimes I miss the ol' girl.

I put a lot of time and energy into that bike.

But when the BMW got here . . . the Valk sat around a lot.
Sure was a thrill to yank that throttle though.

i wish Honda still sold these bikes. i'd get one in a heart beat!!! i know my wife would love the passenger seat accommodations. i know i'd love that flat-6.

You should grab a used one while you still can. I've still not found a bike I like better. I've owned 34 bikes over the last 40 years. My average for length of time to keep a bike is 2 years, I've had this one 9 so far.

I'm not sure if the company that made the exhaust and headers is still in business, but . . . what an awesome setup! It was so much better than the restrictive stock pipes. And it sounded like a muscle-car when you got on the throttle.

When I decided to sell it, a couple flew over from Germany to buy it, ride it around the US for a couple of weeks, and then park it at a family member's house here in the states.

Here it is the last time I saw it.
