Test rode a 97 Tourer just like the one I sold years ago. Bike rode great but it has 6 into 6 straight pipes on it. Way to loud. Do they make baffles for them? I'm guessing Cobra's since those are the only aftermarket ones I have seen.
Alternative 1. If the bike has been rejetted would stock pipes be an option? If so what would they run me? Alternative 2. Newer one is also for sale 20,000 less miles but not a tourer. It has the Hondaline windshield but no bags. Any good sources for takeoff tourer bags? Or other hard bags? (a quick ebay search didn't yield anything) Thanks for any help. I have missed that power!!

Easier and less expensive to swap out pipes than get tourer bags. The bags are expensive to get, even on the used market when you can find them. There are folks who would buy your 6X6 pipes or trade you stock ones for them. Very few people did the jet work when putting the 6X6 pipes on the Valks, so chances are that you wouldn't need to do any jet work with the pipe change.

This month’s calendar photo is ~
Highbinder’s 2000 Black /Red I/S Ooops it’s now a SuperValk.. This was his past winters project… Note he also had the top of the bags painted… And she sports a New Russell Daylong.... It sure looks sharp… He has owned this one since 01.. it had 1,500 miles on it when he drove it out of the shop.. LOL he went in for a tank bag for our ole 84 wing.. And came home with our first Valk ….. He has 110K on her .. She would sit while he rode all his other Valks .. But since he SV her …He has been riding her more.. Hmmm. If he didn't have all the other Valks ,he would have well over 300K on this one.. Thank You Honey ,for giving her a bath… PS .. Photo taken in our front yard… ![]() Here's the link for the sizes ... July Calendar !!!!

Our Valkyrie group has a ride in June.....
Just a heads up for The Dragon Riders....
The Return to The HillBilly Highways Ride.... We nailed down a 73 room Hotel with parking right outside your room door in most cases. The hotel has refrigerators in almost all the rooms, along with Microwave ovens, hairdryers, color t.v. and internet hook-up. Also a outdoor pool with rooms around the pool area and a country style restaurant that serves all 3 meals starting with breakfast at 5:30 am. Along with the continental breakfast that the hotel provides. We have 65 rooms blocked off at the price of $49.99 + tax both seem to be pretty fair prices.. There is a gas station next door and plenty of conveniences in the area. The best time to call to register is from 9 am-3:30 pm and ask for Matt and tell them you are calling for the Hillbilly Highway Ride so that you get the blocked rooms and discounts… phone 276-378-0481.....Marion Va.. The name of the hotel is Magnuson but that will be changed by the time the ride takes place to America’s Best Value Inn plus they will have the rooms renovated before we arrive , the ride dates are June 8th-10th, we hope to see many of you there and we’ll have more ride details as we get closer to June…we’ll see ya there.. P.S. If you want pool side rooms you must specify that when making your reservations, also if you get poolside you can’t park directly in front of your room because the pool is in the way, parking is about 25 ft. away…if you should need to cancel you have right up to the Friday the 8th providing you do so before 12 noon…when making your reservation also specify you want a ground floor room there are plenty available.

Oops I'm sorry.... This ride in Marion Va...
We will be riding The Back of the Dragon aka VA 16... And the coal country of VA & WVa... And will most likely visit the Hand dug coal mine in VA... Then hit a mess to cool back roads , dinner .. and more twisties.. Then back to the hotel for tire kicking and pool party...
