Yes, I would be curious to know what the cost is with shipping? Thanks for any help you can lend in the matter.

Actually, it's seems the mailbox "info@galassetti.it" is currently out of order..

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

info@galassetti.it

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.7.17)

OK, no prob, I'll phone them in the next days and
I'll return to you with some information ASAP

Cheers,
SAM

Galassetti exhaust - information

Here we are:

the exhaust for your Cagiva Grand Canyon will cost 480 Euro + shipping costs
I have been told the package gross weight is around 5 Kg
To calculate the shipping costs they need the destination address.

As payment method it is only accepted the wired transfer on purchase.

The correct email address to contact them is:

ufficio@galassetti.it

Should you need more support from my side, please ask

SAM

Thank you SAM. I wonder how many sales they have missed out on over the years? One would possibly think that Galassetti could have been an all conquering Akrapovic type vendor had there email addres been right all these years! In any case, when the dollar get's a little stronger, I'll be contacting them at the right address.

Wise decision ! it is probably one of the worst moment (from your side I mean) to buy something here in Europe... Opposite situation from our side...

Have a nice day,
SAM

Air Filter

I'm unable to source an air filter for my 750LE in South Africa. Does anybody know of a car filter or a foam motorcycle filter that will fit in the airbox? I've also searched Unifilter Australia's site, but could not find anything. I've sent them an e-mail to confirm whether they've something that could work. I'm using their foam filters in my BMWs and it works fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Bill

BMC Filters

Hi there,

you may have a look here

http://www.bmcairfilters.com/VisProds.asp

BMC is well know here in Europe, they produce high quality filters (almost equivalent to K&N)

Bye,
SAM

Thanks Sam

This morning a vendor from our South African adventure riding site www.wilddog.za.net/ contacted me with a lead on the BMC filter. If they can source it (BMC 164/01) I'll give feedback on fitment, etc.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

Bill

You're welcome !

Just for your convenience, attached is the link to another local dealer

http://www.motogm.com/products/motor...0_v10_v11_.htm

Unfortunately they do not ship outside Europe, however it is clearly stated the BMC 164/01 fits both 750 and 900 Elefant models.

Furthermore, you get a reference price as well

Cheers,
SAM

Nothing Big, just would like to say how much I am enjoying my 94 900e. I have owned many bikes but have never had this much fun on a bike. I know there are newer bikes that will outperform the Duc but they were way more then I wanted to spend and frankly not nearly as cool. Long live the Duc.
