Shenandoah RATs (VA)

The Shenandoah RATs, sponsored by Triumph of Harrisonburg, are planning on hosting our first meeting shortly at the dealership.

If you ride a Triumph or just want to get together with a bunch of great folks and ride then please respond/check out the group on facebook where you'll fine details and information about upcoming events and monthly rides etc.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/304917393047045/

It's just another excuse to get out and ride and enjoy the great Triumph motorcycles we all love (you don't have to ride a Triumph, bikes of all shapes and sizes are welcome!)

Got it! I'll shoot you an email.

I'm a Triumph guy & currently ride a 2011 Triumph Sprint GT. I've owned 8 other Hinckley Triumphs.

I love riding in that area & would enjoy it even more if it were Triumph related.

There isn't any actively particiating RAT Packs around me anymore... I was the RAT Pack Leader in Kalamazoo until 2008. I miss those days.

I used to live down in the Atlanta area and moved up here recently... I helped with a RAT pack down in the area. It can be so much fun and some of my best friends I met from the RAT pack down there, so I had to get one going up here since there isn't one. I welcome any help, suggestions etc.

Are there any other Triumph folks in the area?

Dahlgren

I'm in Dahlgren, near King George, Va. I posted this in NOVA Rides...

Looking to see if any locals are thinking of a Sunday ride (good weather) tomorrow Feb 8th. I know it's short notice, but I'm thinking of leaving Dahlgren, VA at 10am, taking 218 into Fredericksburg and stopping at the 2400 Diner for coffee, then cruise down Lee Drive or maybe somewhere cool for lunch before disbanding.

I would expect diner by 11:00am, leave out at 11:30am and cruise/lunch, and whatever else, then headed home by 2. More of an excuse to straddle the bike than a real ride. I'll check the forum tonight and tomorrow morning to see if there is any interest.

Cool about the RAT

And such good help he is!
The RAT packs/groups are chances to ride and meet folks who share that passion for riding and the history of Triumph bikes as well. We've had some of the best get togethers I can remember in our group. I now have a best friend, that rides like I do thanks to the RAT pack concept, although I still ride with him even if his bike is filthy next to mine.
So, make an effort to join in, you may get more out of it then you think.
