Excellent video. Sod global warming I love 2 smokers
I couldn't help laughing histerically in sympathy at the ktm falling in the puddle. I don't know why, but I get a sick pleasure at watching other riders falling off in slow speed tip overs

I only fell over twice in the day and both were captured on film! I blame the KTM's lofty seat for causing intermittent attacks of vertigo - at least the bog was a soft landing.
I decided dropping the rear wheel down was easier than lifting the front up = mistake no.3. The bike wouldn't start probably because the carb breather tubes were under water. The wheels were sucked down into the quagmire and I nearly burst my foofoo valve breaking free one wheel at a time but Mark & Glen soon hauled it out onto dry ground. I was so glad to be riding with such obliging fellows, even though they didn't volunteer to get into the bog to push. Consumer report - my waterproof socks failed this product test. |

Last Saturdays Potter
Rode with Glen and Andrew (Javahead)
Andrew said he used 4000 calories on the ride - the equivalent of running a marathon made me feel a bit better about all the nana naps I need. Another great ride even though it was cut a bit short by Glens bike starting to run crappy Glen chases Andrew

No
Andrew and Glen are in a completely different league than me on the open stuff. I try and keep up but while they look smooth at speed I'm all over the show and normally scare myself into slowing down again. I have come to terms with my position as 'slow boy' in the group.
