It's locked at 40 degrees right now. I go to the doc on monday and I hope he lets me start moving it. 40 degrees is about perfect for in the car but nothing else. Tried to throw my leg over the DR with my halo on but that didn't work. Anxious to try it with the brace. Weather sucks anyway so I'm not missing much.

Depending on what you did or had done, don't. I had ACL replacement and when I could ride, I could barely get my foot on the peg, rested my heal on it because it wouldn't bend enough. Then, I had to make a panic stop, slid up the seat putting a strain on my knee. I didn't damage the knee but the tears just about destroyed my pride!!

broke the bone below the knee. Not planning on riding until I get the ok. Just would like to sit on a bike. I am hoping for a warm snap because I did an oil change on a freinds gold wing trike and I want to take it for a spin to check everything out before he leaves for florida.

ouch...

I've never broken a major bone and hope I never do. Just a hand and foot bone. The foot was plated, the hand was just splinted.

Im wondering if Kawasaki will credit anything with out the dealer taking it apart??? Im hoping the best for you but I wouldnt warrent anything that wasnt taken apart by my techs if I was the company. But I hope they send you a new motor, prolly cheaper for them then a lawsuit would be, so hit em with the legal stuff.

a few pics of our cold ass TAT ride:

some where in MS. Nice steady 25-30mph wind all day.

Eastern AR- fun roads, glad they were frozen

Yes is was cold....

We ran into this alot-flooded roads everywhere. Tons of rerouting that day

then we started gaining elevation

Then we ran into this. over & over

Then some of this, a little nerve racking when its so cold. I didnt want wet feet.

overall great riding. It does get old chasing day light.

I will post more pics monday

Anyone have any thoughts on living in the Wheeling / Ohio county area?

Wheeling PD has 7 openings, with only about 100 applicants. I'm gonna test with them in late January; a condition of employment is residing in Ohio County.

I'd like a rural, small acreage, inexpensive home. What's the area like? Cost of living? The pay pretty much sucks at WPD...
