1 or 2 wheel drive?

You gotta love the Patrols. Regardless congrats on the new hack.

Now, don't come back here posting until you fly the cart and have an image of you doing so.

Recently picked up a mint 2004 Honda XR250R that I'm dual sporting. Looking to do a little semi-local riding this spring/summer. I live in the Spencer area. 42 years old, but feel younger, and used to ride dirt bikes all the time back in the day. I'm also into old mustangs.

These look like a fun way to spend some time! Plus, cheap compared to drag racing the mustang.

Just giving a 'shout out' to anybody in the area that might want to chase some trails!

Later!

Mike

We might have to hook up for some riding. :)

I just bought the bike, then got the urge to tag it, and have a Baja Designs kit on the way. The DMV didn't seem to think getting a tag would be a problem with the BD kit and an inspection, so hopefully it will be legal within a couple weeks. She said the title would be similar to what a 'kit car' or reconstruction would have. It's not as easy as Ohio, I guess, but at least it's possible to get a tag.

The bike did come with a clean 'off road' motorcycle title from Ohio.

Anybody else here get tags on a dirtbike in West Virginia? The lady at the DMV didn't think it would be a problem, but didn't seem 100% sure about the process, either.

Thanks, and see ya' guys around!

Man, just saw on the news that 25 of the missing miners are dead. Makes me very sad... condolonces to the entire state of WV. I can't imagine what a difficult and dangerous job that is...

They were saying that there was another 4 missing. You almost have to assume that they are gone also. Too sad...

RIP to the miners, that's a nightmarish way to go. Makes me claustrophobic just thinking about it.

Mike, I live about 1 mile from the Roane Co. line near Gay. I was in Spencer yesterday at Farmers Friend and someone road in on a dual sport 250.
Was that you? I have a DR650 up at Slate Run and an R1150GS here at home. I do ride the gas and timber roads some. Dual sport tires on both bikes...

Bob
