Mike- sure was dad and joe. They'd been to church and rode in that night. Dad's tryin to sell the beemer to get a KTM, he's still lookin for the perfect one. He's picky :P But yeah I'll tell my bro you liked his 640. It's a nice machine, he's been commuting to the hospital up in new martinsville for his rotation up there and loves it. Can't beat 45+ mpg with these gas prices ;)

TDRrally- nice lookin machines. What's your favorite trails in the charleston area? I'm down there every day for school. If I get the DOT tires back on the KTM i might bring it down thurs and hit some trails/backroads with my dad since it's a light day for me. i rode it down there on the knobbies a few weeks ago. It did NOT like to go 70 :P

As soon as finals are out i'm down for a ride any weekend as long as the wife doesn't have plans for it! I got my DOT tires on, much better at 70! So I expect if the weather is OK i'll be in charleston for a lil ride thurs if anyone is game. i think my dad may ride down w/ me on my bro's KTM and we're gonna check out a new 625 at the dealer in cross lanes.

The 625 has been out of production for a few years. Unless it's an old leftover it must be a 690. Totally different animal. They are way cool though. I was seriously considering getting one when the 990 deal came along. I'll prolly try and pick one up to replace the LC4 sometime in the future. Those guys are ok down there. I get all of my parts there although I've yet to buy a bike from them.

Sounds good mike, soon as school is out we'll have to go for a ride. one week left!!!! Dad and I are actually thinking about going to look at a new 690 down in cross lanes he's been talkin to the dealer about, but he's also interested in a nice 640 over in Va i think too. The 690's not a rally rep though :(
I can handle puting, that's best too if my bro goes. I've rode and rode hard for years, but he's not been on a bike off road in several years (like over 10) so almost every time we go on anything worse than a fire road he ends up eating dirt LOL.

Mike- just talked to dad and it looks like he should be getting a bike within the week. There's a 2008 990 he's going to look at this weekend and he's pretty sure it's "the bike". I'll let ya know how it goes. From the pics it looks mint though.
