More pictures
The trail you see looks good but it got nasty on the way down, however the blue and clear sky couldn't be better.
![]() StuCazzo and 640E ![]() Starchaser and 525EXC. ![]() Bob, Brent, Art, Ted, Pablo, Nick, Mike, and Joel. ![]() Finally near the end of the ride, we got the chance to show off ourselves! How many FFs can you fit in one frame? ![]() Here's another one less the fingers, to show the wife and kids that you actually went riding. ![]() This one is my favorite, because I'm in, the 4th rider from the left! And more FFs than the previous pics.![]() Now what? Mike just stole some valuable mems from my camera .

today was AMAZING!
doghouse and i met up, rode up to lynx through thick fog and drizzle. blue skies when we got to upper big t. all sunshine and not too hot on lynx. crossed paths with turin and his friend on the not street legal honda. rode over to 4N 24, down 3N 17, came around the corner on angeles forest, look over and see turin again. stop and bs a bit. rode on lynx with them for a few turns and creek crossings. said bye again, came outta lynx at the campground. coffee at Hidden Springs was especially good today cuz i swear it was in the low 40's on the top of 3N 17. ![]() all in all it was a great day. rode hard and kept up a good pace!

Lynx Gulch
After about 4 hours of riding, Nowwhat suggested that we do Lynx, and Lynx we did.
The trails were narrow and interesting. Lots of water crossing. As I came up on a hill, saw Pablo's DR on the ground. He came out hot and the supertanker decided to take a nap. His shifter lever punctured a hole on his clutch cover. Funny, he and I talked about it last week on ways to protect it. The guys were pretty quick getting it up and prevent more oil loss. ![]() Hard to believe, Artboy carries with him a JB Weld and a quart of oil. That saved Pablo's arse and made Artboy a Certified JB Welder. That thing really works. ![]() Now Pablo's able to smile. Artboy blessing his weld to hold up. ![]() Time to get that puppy going. ![]() We all hooked up again and rode to Hidden Springs for lunch and more b.s. Here's a pic of my bike with ADV sticker and couple of the guys at the restaurant parking lot. Note the fuel left in my tank, I used up only 2 gallons, and darn, the ride was the best $7.30 of excitement you can buy. ![]() Nice Guzzi, and of course it has a "shaft". I always like MG and BMW boxers, aircooled and shaft driven. ![]() To summarize the day, 9 guys showed up, they came from 5 to 80 miles away. Nowwhat, Artboy, and H8c were the regulars; we were glad to see others to join us and made new friends. None of those guys have been on SCD and off-shoots, so Nowwhat carefully lead everyone and have them experienced the little treasure we have in our backyard. The weather was perfect, morning was chilly, but it warmed up to the 70's when we reached the bottom of 2N32. At the end of the day, we all rode home satisfied. The ride down was exciting, lots of twisties and sweeping turns. Gee whiz, how much dual sport can you get, there was a total of 40 miles of asphalt and curves, 50 miles of dirt, plus the ride from the bottom of Angeles Forest. Another good weekend , and that's just Saturday. For sure the Sunday dudes (Grinder, Doghouse, and Razr) are ripping up the trails and having a blast as well.

great report
Hey H8chains,
Great photos & report! My tank is actually 8 gallons not 12. Ironic that we talked about the case savers in DV and ![]() I bit the dust just a week later, but thanks to quick action on turning the bike over on the non leaking oil side. That JB weld is hard as nails now- no leaks... still. I plan on getting it repaired and PUT CASE SAVERS ON ASAP!!! My Best, Espi Soon to have a 990A in the stable in about 3 weeks!

A pleasure to cross paths with razr and doghouse today!! Nice to put a face to the online names.
Good ride today! Got soaked heading up with drizzle and light rain but cleared at the top at mill creek summit. Down and up lynx with a couple of side routes then SCD to 4N24 to the other side of the mountain and back to Mill creek! A little cool at times but great fun!! Nice to meet you Charles and Mike!

Thanks Razr for a kickass ride. No pics because we never stopped long enough to get the camara out
Riding through the fog and drizzle on ACH was kinda surreal. Razr was maybe 5 or 6 bike lengths in front of me but I could just barely make out his tail light. We turned at AFH and by Big T the fog was gone and the road was dry. We hit Lynx off of 9 mile. Ran into Turin (Grinder96) on the way up as they were coming down. Razr likes that deep water crossiing so much we had to do it 3x Coffee and a cheeseburger at Hidden Springs tasted real good. Saw Derek there (I forget his ADV handle; he rides a KLX650C). Back down the Crest, Razr hit the 210W while I hit the Shell to fill up the dinky tank on the KLX and then it was home and a hot shower. A great day.
