Snow is no problem we could all use the practice picking up our bikes.

Thanks for showing up guys...another good ride. Glad to see JM and Oni again, and ride with the famous Cap'n Jack.

Boy I was worn out by the time I got home.

Hard to beat this ride, 100+ miles of dirt and canyon riding, and amazingly I only used $10 of gas !

In the parking lot of Ranch Side Cafe.

Only 30 minutes in the ride, JM got a flat tire.

The 3 of us never had a flat tire and surprisingly all the video watching to fix a flat paid off. Sito did most of the work and thankfully he has all the tools and an air compressor.

JM putting on the last nut.

That was a learning experience and thanks to the rest for patiently waiting for us. It took us less than a hour, not too bad for first timers.

Break time, the best part of the ride for my tired body.

Sito blasting

Then came Oni

Artboy next

It appears the branch is going to hit JM's neck

Capn Jack and his sweet 625

Sito and his never-been-dropped 950

Artboy found snow (again!)

Oni found himself deeper and the Sahara's are not making it any better.

A little help took care of it.

Artboy really love this stuff, and he did very well truthfully

Finally found some good dirt

Darn it, we ran out of dirt and onto the pavement. Really not too bad since it's mostly twisties, and we get to wear out the chicken strips.

Lunch at Hidden Springs

We thought of doing Lynx but after filling ourselves up, the sofa and tv seems to be the best alternative. We all headed home.

Thanks again guys for the company and for pushing me harder

Eventually once you guys switched to a slower bike, I won't be too far behind. Like I said this morning, I'm not slow, I just like to take pictures.

Hey Capn Jack, good riding with you and showing us the full capability of that 625SXC! The X-Challenge does not like snow!

Now we know why you guys were parked on the side of AFH. We could have given you extra hands but JM was your guy, he had a fresh training earlier at the start of the ride .

OK, Sito and others, the next ride is Lynx! Is the 15th (next Saturday) sounds a good day! Meet at the shell station? or at the trail head? We need Grinder, Wxl, and Doghouse to join us this time.

My mistake was following Sito after his wheelspinning (never been dropped) 950 really chewed up the snow...and not having knobbies. I got to the part where he grabbed a big handful of throttle and my forward momentum stopped.

I was watching him and thinking I should go through the other rut...but somehow ending up in the same rut he did. Doh.

That was a fun ride. Not having breakfast...by the end of the trail I was needing food in a bad way. It was really good...but next time I'm not gonna order bacon on my burger! It was tough watching you guys chow down while waiting for my burger!

Thanks for putting the ride together Joel. Nice riding with everyone.

Easy, if you're riding a bike with twice the cylinder and twide the displacement , everything around you is a blurr.

Artboy's 400 + my 400 = 800 < 940 (Sito)

Oni, you got screwed following Sito's trail, what about me? I could have ordered the regular cheese burger and instead followed you and ask for the same.

At the end, we're all sore, but enjoyed a good ride. And learning to fix flats for the first time is a handy experience.
