anyway, in your humble IMHO, what is the best looking road bike of all time???

here's my pick, i think, so hard, but yeah, i'll say this:

yeah, i know, it's a track bike, but you could put a few discreet little lights on it.
Here ya go, and say thanks to "AJ Jim" Holbrook

I believe that motorcycles should have a beautiful looking motor... however there are some nice plastic bikes around, my favourite plastic bike is the ducati 748, 916,996 series..

Bobbers and vintage bikes looks better than most of the modern bikes..
all the clutter should be hidden behind nice cast aluminum.. and I hate when they use plastic to make the design even worse.(B-king for example)
Design should follow functionality..
While I can't find a picture of the "perfect bobber".. this one have to do.
Would like to have a tiny front fender and a low mount headlight ..etc.
I like rigid and bobber indians better than the skirted fender ones..
Anyway.. this is what I think.. and it certainly don't apply to everyone else. The world would be quite boring if everybody had the same taste..

The Springsteen (and Storz) Harley's do the same thing. A completely different idea but beautiful because they are built to a purpose.

Your example signals what? Never mind its all unrelated ironwork, weird angles and a mishmash of ideas (no suspension, a suspended seat, an engine and front end that seem completely unrelated to each other).

This thread has clearly gone off the rails... How long before someone posts a picture of their Honda Pacific Coast?

To get back to the question at hand:

-Faired bike Ducati 1098 (yes, I think it's better than the 916)
-Unfaired, Brough Superior.

Others have already mentioned both, and posted pictures, so I'll leave it at that.

No, you misunderstood, it's supposed to be the best looking bike, not the most garrish ever.

BTW, I shot that photo at Iron Horse BMW in Tucson several years ago. The bike was covered with Swarovsky crystals at $1.00 each. Even the BMW logo is made up of individual crystals. The owner told me he was hoping to get $250k for the bike at the Barrett-Jackson Auction that year. I don't believe his investment paid off.
