Ok, got that figured out. Now- weekend or weekday?

I'm working normal-people hours through the 18th. Got my CWP class Saturday, working this Sunday, other than that, I'm good for just about any time.

Post your preferences, folks. I'm thinking we should give folks a week's notice at least. Not sure how folks' weekends look, I imagine this lot will have trips and such planned. So- Wednesday night, the 9th of April sound good?

If so, where? Breck's was mentioned, Brazillian steakhouse, mexican, barbeque- what's for dinner, guys?

Or, do we want a local chain like Wild Wing? Let me know so I can get an idea of the headcount and call and verify it's cool with the venue.

If you know any local riders or folks who're not averse to a ride for dinner and friendship, PM, call, or email 'em. I'll crosspost this on Cornerjunkies (SHAKE THE TICKETS!!!

) and tell some guys I work with about it.

Wednesday night works for me. It'd be good to find a place that's not too dang loud and crowded so we could actually talk. Some of these places might give us our own room if we had enough people.

: I was thinking the same thing- pretty much rules out Wild Wing.

The BBQ place is small and quiet- built in an old Hardee's in Mt Pleasant....

as it stands now. probably best to try something with a range of cuisine- so Wild Wings or some such

Right now I'm thinking, with an absense of contrary opinion, 7pm at Wild Wings on Rivers across from Northwoods Mall.

yup, that's what made me get off my arse and put the new rear tire on tonight.

think I might have even done it without pinching the tube. Let's hope!

Hope to get the front done tomorrow. Rear brakes, check. Rear tire, check. Front is cupped, and I went to a semiknobbie so I don't think it's going to handle well without a matchr up front.

DEFINITELY going to have to adjust my riding habits now that I've basically cut the contract patch in half.

Folks-

tomorrow is Trivia night at the 'Wing, but that shouldn't interfere.

If you come and don't see us, ask for the group under the name of "Cooper". That's me.

I'll be riding a dark green KLR650 with full kit of protection (rack, bars, guards) on it. I hope to be able to park near the front in the roundabout near the highway. I'll keep an eye on the door for anyone coming in with moto gear.

Call me at 819-3172 if you need directions or want to touch base and can't find us.
