JAFO, sorry for the late notice, but I can't make it tonight. If you have another one, please post it. Hopefully we can make this a semi-regular occurence.

Sorry for the Short Notice

Count me in, I'm new to the area and just landed. Still trying to get my bearings around here.

I'll be in a cage though, unfortunatley, the bike was one of the sacrifices of the move...

"Thors Hammer" dude-

good to meet ya. Look forward to you getting a bike down here.

Rob- good to see you as always.

The rest of you FFs- where were ya? :)

We'd like to make this monthly. What'dya think of the second Wednesday of each month?

How about Andolini's Pizza on Rivers by Trident Tech, on the 14th of May?

JAFO, Andolini's sounds like a good location. I'll do my best to make it next time.

It was a good day to ride, wasn't it?

had fun

Enjoyed the dinner, guys! Hope we can make this a regular event, but I'll be out of town on May 14th. My travel schedule is pretty unpredictable, but count on me whenever I'm in town.

How 'bout a road trip some time soon?

Rob

So- Andolini's Pizza on Rivers Ave this time?

The 7th or the 14th work better for everyone? I think we determined the second Wednesday of each month to be the night for the dinners last meeting. That work with everyone?

Andolini's on the web:
http://www.andolinis.com/

Pizza. (HUUUUGE slices)
Beer. :)
Riders.

Sound like a good plan?

They have slices, full pies, calzones, and salads. If this doesn't meet your diet needs (some folks have problems with the acidity) let us know- we don't mind trying another restaurant- it's about the people, not he grub.....

hopefully, this weekend.

I need to order new fork seals most likely. Since I've had no oil in these, they're likely shot. Kawi dealer hasn't got them in stock, and I'm still waiting for the $5 oring I ordered two weeks ago for the starter (grrrrrr)

Will be using ATF for fluid, stock springs, and putting in a longer spacer made of PVC above the springs. Need to replace my stock boots, as they're in pieces at present.

The idiots at Cyclegear kept showing me shock boots when I asked for fork seals. The new crew over there SUCKS. Don't think they even ride.

I may just go ahead and top off the forms with ATF tonight when I get home from work, so I can see if the seals weep. If they don't, I won't sweat it. Still gonna have to pull them from the triples though, to install boots. While I'm in there, might as well adjust the headset too.

OB topic: No, I ain't payin'. :P

+1 for that. ~3 weeks ago I stood around for ~10 minutes trying to find someone willing to take my money to order a set of Pirelli Scorpion Syncs. The "manager" was too busy BS'ing on a cell phone to talk to me so I left.

That's too bad that CycleGear is headed south. I have always had good luck there. But their prices on tires are still better than anyplace else in town that I have found.

I'll catch 'em on tire sales, but that's about it.
Don't know what happened to the old crew. Hopefully they'll get some riders, or someone who knows how to read a special order book, soon.

I should also mention: when I initially asked for fork boots (I asked for those, first), the salesdroid took me to the FOOTWEAR section.

I won't be able to make this one, looks like, folks. My next day off it 17 May. That said, I have no idea which shift I'll be on that night, but chances are I won't be off.
