Where will dinner be next week?

Kalonji, thanks for the mini-ride report. Funny pics, and you're welcome for the epilogue.

Lets get the minds rolling and pick a spot.....how about in honor of our friends in N.Charleston, Summerville Area....how about we find a spot north or around 526......Do not want anyone to think that we favor the JI, Chucktown, Mount P. area....huh.....just throwing a bone....

btw.....Jogus...is riding again......although his bike is leaking fuel from the carb bowl seals....

ciao....

my two cents.....as an idea only....how about Jim&Nicks...BBQ, at Tanger....they even have wings and they are good at Buffallo Wild Wings....also Tanger........

lets have other ideas and take a vote for a change....

ciao...otra vez.....

Jim n Nick's is pretty good. There's also a Manny's (Mediterranean for those not in the know) on Montague that's got great food.

And now, for something completely different. If I can't find a roommate by the end of this month, I'm going to have to leave my current place of living, but for the moment, I've got a pretty sweet deal on my living situation. I'm living there month-to-month, $650 for my half the rent and utilities (house phone, cable internet, and expanded basic cable with HBO channels).

If any of you know someone in need of a place, they would have the whole upstairs (master bedroom and a guest bedroom with its own bath) and an open living room type area to themselves. I've furnished the downstairs completely, washer/dryer, all-new appliances when I moved in, propane grill out back, enclosed back porch with decorative XT350 centerpiece.

I live in North Charleston between CSU and the mall, so a pretty convenient location to Summerville and Goose Creek.

My wife and I went to Fatz last night (and that's exactly how I felt after dinner). I'm good for eating anywhere.

Too cool. Where can I get one?

And yes, I am STILL pretty much bikeless. I've not been on my junk in so long I let my plates lapse (but, moto insurance being so cheap, still have it covered).

Anyone know what kinda hoops the DMV is gonna make me run through for a bike that I haven't ridden in two years, thus not having paid property tax on in two years?

either way, I'll get it back on the road soon. Still trying to get that freakin' KLR's tank issue squared away....

Speaking of, anyone know where I can get the big disk front kit for a KLR, at a good price? Started a new job and funds are TIGHT, but the factory disk is shot...

... and if you guys will get someone to call me, I WILL be there. (I used to work with one of the main guys in this thread... shit, I STARTED the idea.... I just forgot who the hell it was I worked with, in terms of screenname here... )

I'll keep an eye on the thread, maybe I can make a ride and learn a little about the dirt side of the low country.

JAFO! Good to see you back. I think all you have to do is take the title to the tax assessor's office and pay the current taxes, then take the title, the tax receipt, and your proof-of-insurance to the DMV and they'll issue you a tag on the spot.

Coolness.

Now before that I still have to cough up near a grand to get tires on the wife's jeep and my workbeast, my next certification test, and some other stuff.

Of course you'd know when I leave my last job for a contract-to-hire gig (taking a significant paycut in the process, till I'm hired FT, to get an opportunity for advancement) all this stuff comes about...

not bitching, just observing.

Still lovin' the new gig. It's a hell of a challenge, and I'm learning so much!
