We will keep her in our prayers just the same!
Thank you all for your best wishes, she's tough as nails so I'm sure she'll be trying to get on a plane next weekend or hell, maybe not even stop by the house after they check her out of the hospital.

Very true about that type of surgery, really quick recovery time... Unless you get it done in Africa, only get 24hr sick in quarters, then right back to work, and you have too walk everywhere. Thats what I got to experience... Poop sucks.

Again, I'm up for either day this weekend!

Sorry to hear about your Mom, Daryn....but she'll be good to go!

Still out for Sunday, getting on the road early to head south. Looks like summer is coming quicker than normal and we may have to start meeting earlier on the weekends due to the heat....like our summerdayz.....

Eglin on Saturday you say? There might be a fastburn on Sunday... I can't tell? Saturday or Sunday works for me, I need to get out and ride.

Have you ridden with the orange crew yet? Fun stuff.

I was here last summer and you are very correct, brutal is an understatement. The farmers almanac says it's supposed to be a cool, wet summer... I'll have to see it to believe it though!

LOL

The odds of wining the lottery gives you the same odds as that book being true..

And it's all relative anyways. I prefer more of the 60-degree "cool, wet summer" instead of the 90-degree "cool, wet summer".

Unfortunately Sunday is a no go for me. I did get a chance to ride with Vico and Live_riderHD a few months ago which was great.

Saturday or Sunday?

So which is it going to be, Saturday or Sunday, what time and where? The only place I know my way around is Mossy Head and I'm game for there too... I just don't want to ride by myself...

Too long.

Didn't make sense.

Still waitin on that crazy story you were eluding to.
I have more.......

Meh...

All of those bikes were fun but.... and, beside that fact also, I LUST after Rob's heavy-weight Triumph triple, but for the last ten or so years, I have told myself that I would NEVER take a loan out for anything. That's why I have the Transalp (and I've had enough of DL1000s too). But that's beside the point. My Transalp will road ride (at a relatively leisurely pace) wherever I want to go...But then again, I ain't talking 'bout "beasts"...

Please just SHOW (or PM) me the way to a late model, LIGHT-weight street-legal 2 stroke dadgummit. I miss the "on the pipe dig" that I had with my rev happy, wheelie poppin DS185 smoker...

Spank me bad and tell me I'm full of crap, but, for a guy that knows how to get OFF the throttle (ie - no engine braking) and use both judicious braking (now just so ya know - I can get ON the throttle too - which is much of a 2 stroke's charm of getting a fat ass out of bad situations )...

I guess I just miss my DS185. It seemed to be feather-weight. These Japanese 4 strokers I've had have been like, well, freaking cumbersome and heavy. What's the lightest street-legal orange bike?

Dammit Vic - that dude at the last sweat fest (at madhouses place) had a unit I was lusting for!

Ampersand... Buzz (or someone) posted up a two wheel drive version of a Katoomer for about 9 or 12. Two Wheel Drive??? Damn! Awesome! Hell, 9 or 12 is WAY more than I'd want to even consider, but it were 7 or 8...? The Iron is hot.

However - then again I don't want to have to fiddle-fart around with it. It must be able to "sleep" for weeks at a time, and then come out to play.

So - I am keenly interested in a street legal 2 smoker. I do NOT want to pay huge money for it, but I do know that it'll be more that thesse Jap 4 stroke heavyweights that I have had.

Keep your eyes open, and if any of y'all see anything - point them my way.

And I know... "Too long, didn't read" applies here.

Tks.

Well Madhouse - all that crap should be kept somewhere else. Don't you think?

I re-read it and yup well - I guess I suck at trying to convey anything!
