Dang me. Didn't mean to be rude. Other riders described the trail to your Saturday destination as too much too soon for me and my bike.
Still waiting to see if Buzz or Orange Crush are headed to BW Sunday. If that's where your headed, might see you there.

You want BZ not Buzz (offically Buzztail of Tally fame). But fear not. Ride with Barney and Dirtwoman in the morning and all will become clear... you have an adventure in store...

This evening fashioning a licence plate holder, attaching fork protectors, and mending a leak in the fuel crossover line (must have been severed in the accident) so the left tank can take part. Thanks for getting me headed the right direction Vico1. Kip

Speaking of 690 riders here... I'm gonna be in need of a rear tire sooner rather than later... What y'all running?

Speaking of Street rides I have quest in town from Denver Co. "Running away from the fires" I am leading the 3 of them and a couple of other non ADV friends on a ride around Baker and BW Sunday. We are leaving my house at 0700 headed to Mickeys in Baker for breakfast. There will be 4 Harleys and a Vulcan chasing my Gold Wing, I am sure it will be a little more conservative ride than Barny will be doing with Kip and Dirtwoman. All are welcome to join if you like hope to heave Mickeys about 0845-0900.

I have read a whole lot of good things about those tires from various members on long trips through South America, north to AK, etc. Commonly paired with a Dunlop 606 front which I just put on mine. Once my rear tire is shot I'm set on the D908. They say it lasts almost long enough to pay for the premium, as well as having decent road manners... many positive traits as I recall.
