New Years Day 100
We we had a great turn out and great weather for a great 100 Mile Fast Burn thru parts unknown.
Thanks to Mike for the lead. Good stuff. I got some good video today but as you know it will take a while to get it produced. I will have a short version up some time soon. In the mean time the only pic I took... ![]() ![]() ![]() The end of one tradition and the start of another... Long Live the New Years Day 100

new years day 100
Wow, what a great turnout for the New years day 100. Never expected to see 15 bikes show up for what proved to be a great ride! Weather was perfect and the dirt just right, not too wet and no dust. I am still learning my way around BW but I believe we covered some of the best roads today. Hope everyone else enjoyed the ride as much as I did!

Hints for watching Vids
I just discovered that while watching the vids on youtube you can hit the "setting" icon (gear wheel) and you can set the view mode to HD and you can also change speed of view. I like 1/2 or 1/4 speed to see good stuff like water corssing etc.
Just thought I would pass it along. The HD setting make a hugh difference in quality.... may depend on your computer feed etc..

New Years
Hey Vic and other Mossy Heads,
I didn't get to make it down this year for New Years, looks like you guys have moved on from the old festivities @ Mossy to a new one. Looks like an equal amount of fun and I still hope to get down there and ride with you guys when I can. Take care, have a good 2013 and say hi to Dave, Dan, John, Rick, Ben, Craig, Steve, and all the rest! Aaron C. http://www.volunteerriders.com/ |

Yeah, I'm on a '12 450XCW (tagged), it's the best bike I've ever been on so far. I love it and wish I could spend more time on it. I do keep my 200XC/XCW hybrid around for serious trail work though- also a great bike! |

New Years Day 100
I was a good ride for the time I was on it.
Sorry I had to cut out guys/gals but was just not my day. Plus my speedometer cable broke, so that is on order now. Will catch you all next time. We have some time to ride before next General gun hunting season begins: 19-27 Jan.

The SERA web site has some KTM dealers that are good with PARTS - Mikes Cycle in Miss and Munn Racing in Tx both know what they are doing and are good folks. Microfiches on both sites. For other stuff like filters oil tires I use normal online guys like Rocky Mountain - Revzilla (street mostly) etc. Good luck on the new scoot...
