Once again, what was old is new again.
Husqvarna is going after the old look of the 400 Cross of the Malcolm Smith and Steve McQueen days with a 650 dualsport.
LOVE the Ducati Sport 1000. Another somewhat retro bike.
Where is the nearest dealer?

If any of you regular range riders have some coordinates of cool stuff (tanks, helicopters, and the sort) I would love to get some. As my boys love exploring Eglin but obviously can't ride out there like I did back in the 70's. We go out regularly in the truck and are always looking for cool stuff.

Thanks in advance for taking some time to post 'em up.

YoYo riders,
Up early, ready ?? to report to prison yard for another stint/stretch. My apologizes to everyone, especially Barney for the no-show at Treeman's ride. I had a monkey wrench tossed into my spokes/plans this wknd, sure was hoping to ride the trails before he harvested the trees.
Will do my best to attend next group ride as I'm sure Mr.Brett's monkey butt needs relief/softer saddle on his pumpkin. Please rub it in by posting reports & pictures of what I missed !!
Ditto on tdreyers above request on cool stuff co-ord's. I know you guys (Mugster, Inept & VO) have shown me some of the rusting surplus trucks, tanks, old bombed out bunkers (with C130 gunship lead scattered about), plastic city, etc. out yonder. Would like to waypoint/visit these areas next time I get the time/chance to ride the range again. Thanks ahead to anyone for PM or post with some of these spots co-ords.
Peace out dirt bro's,
JohnnyP

Ok guys here are some fun spots...

Disclaimer... have not visited these in awhile so who knows whats really there. They pick up and bring back the helos from time to time....

All these are in the North Broxson area... at least thats what I call it.
Heavy sand in all these areas...

Helos 30 36.237 86 47.786
mini tank 30 35.932 86 48.729
air plane (s) 30 34.309 86 53.768

trenches 30 33.109 86 56.218
AA Guns 30 33.191 86 55.288

Good luck.

for grins stash a little geobox and we can add to it with each visit...

FBM,
I hate to see this but I understand. I really appreciate the "hook-up' on you letting me ride your Husky on Saturday at Treeman's when I was having problems with my bike. Anybody looking for a "Like New" well maintained fuel injected Husqvarna 450; this bike is it!

Question ???

1st off... FBM - we spoke of this, and I totally comprende.

2nd - where the hell is all the RRs and pix from treemans?

(Or is it a "What happens at Treemans, stays at Treemans" sort of thing? :-)

Treemans video

Here is a quick video of Treemans.

Lots of info under Treemans site in the SE forum...

This has nothing of the three DS rides that Treeman lead on Friday (107 miles) Sat (143) and Sunday (50).

Great video Vic, just like being there although it's hard to get a full appreciation for some of the more challenging Low spots. Especially later in the day on Saturday. It was a blast and hopefully the trees will still be there next year!

I just noticed this is a split race weekend. Beginners on sat and regular classes on sun. Which one u racing in. You might want to rethink and ride C class for the Sunday race. I am going to help out.
