There was a guy on klr650.net (dirtly) making poly sliders for 650s that you could install without swingarm removal, but I don't know if he makes em for 250s or not.

The guys that do chain conversions on Buells make their own, might be worth a try--finding the right material seems to be the biggest challenge:

6:20AM and it NOT raining over here.

Looks like it might be a clear morning.

Count on wet trails and packed sand. Dust will be bad!

Phil is also going to join us. Looks like a good ride shaping up.

Post of call me if you are not going to make it.

Sunday Ride Report

Yee-Haw!!! what a ride today.

Seven of us braved the light rain this morning and had a hell of a ride. I must say one of the fastest ever. Surpurb conditions helped everyone stay upright and the skill level was up there for all riders.

The n00b, as I suspected, is lightning fast and a welcome addition to the group. AJArt made it out as did Froth Jag MI and Phil.

Post up those vids guys since I didnt take any this trip. Hope all make it home safe in the rain.

Jag sorry man I plain forgot about your battery trouble till just know.

We cut ride short at around 55 miles and beat the real rain. Again, great ride guys. The fun factor was off the scale....

Single Track Ride Report

R_bin and I left Navarre at 6 am headed for Mossy Head and were in the woods by 7.

No rain and cool conditions up there today. The sand was as sticky as it gets!!!

We rode one loop then connected with my old racing buddies Big Dave and Dan C.

Robin and I rode three loops (35 miles) of tight-ass single track and we have the scars to prove it!

It has taken me the last two rides to get race-ready on the 300. Feeling pretty good now.

Bring on the A D V I L!!!!

Ditto on all of the above!! Had a blast--very good group today!! If 55 miles is accurate I used 1.25 gallons which is 44 mpg...sweet.

No worries on the battery Vic--still had plenty of juice to get me home. I have to say I REALLY enjoyed the LACK OF HIGH TEMPS!! I felt great when I got home and hardly drank 1/2 my water. Come on cool weather!!!

Good ride today guys. It felt great to get out while the temps where cool. Nice to meet some of the new folks. Still feel bad about bumping into riggie, it was surely my fault.
See you all on the next cool day. Hopefully soon!
