Warrior - just noticed your new avitar! WTF?

Let see, WD, Phil, MI, Riggy and myself had another 60 mile romp through the woods around Spec and Indigo. We did a quick ride to the Hat Tree where we added two hats, signed and dated thanks to WarriorD.

We looked around some and then headed for single track where Riggy got josted off his bike. Ya know the broken stub of a limb stabs you in the shoulder. Hope all is OK man. Badge of Honor!

There is a saying in the single track crowd. "It aint a good weekend unless you bleed". Some truth to that.

Anyway more videos are on their way if I can ever get them uploaded. This time it Phil so you get yet another perspective. Oh yea, you will notice a little dust! humgh!

enduro

i'm not able to go to the enduro this weekend , but if i have anything that someone might need for the race just pm me and i''ll see how to help.
good luck to those who are racing, and make sure of who you will be with on your row, if you want to ride the enduro and others want to race it,... just ask so that all know whats going on prior to the start.
it's sounds like a fun ride so enjoy yourselfs.

Took the bike out to put some time on it so I can do the 3 hr. service. (Still runs like crap at idle and wont e-start) While out in the north 40 here on post I was able to break my right side mirror and kick off my left rear turn signal.

So my first question is what brand and where should I get the new rear mirror and the rear turn signals. I think I saw someone mention low profile blinkers for the back. That seems to be the ticket. If I had known that the turn signals were so easy to boot off I would have given them a wrap of 100mph tape to at least let them hang a bit before being sent into the woods with out any protest.

I was also looking at the JD jet kit versus the one that Blais racing put out. Has anyone used the Blais kit. It comes with a Air/ Fuel Mixture Screw that the JD kit does not have. Seems this would be better to put on so the small adjustment stuff after you have the carb put back on.

Oh by the way Mr. Turtle says hello to everyone.

Any good local sources for bars? The DR needs some taller bars with the quickness.

Steve, Kiley's had several sets of bars hanging on the wall last time I was in there, you'll probably want something along the lines of an ATV Hi bend, several mfgs offer them in both steel & aluminum--figure $25 or so for steel bars, and at least double that for aluminum.

Or you can try bar risers, you can get em on ebay for $27 right here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Adjus...Q5fAccessories

And FWIW, 1.5" of rise may not sound like much, but it makes a big difference...

I like the mini turn signals from Rocky Mountain ATV & M/C for about $10. they ain't fancy, but they definitely flex, are pretty bright and can be repaired when broken. The ones I have are not LED. They have several models; faux carbon fiber, black, etc...

rear mirror

Lotsa choices here, but I have recently adapted two small mountain bike mirrors to my KLX; $13 each...probably won't work on every bike. I mounted mine to the handguards in such a way that I could easily remove or they do fold down if I hit something...

You know watching a few moments of the vid from today I have to say that Vic and I have shared the same experience:

!) We have raised our sons on racing
2) We love them unconditionally
3) Whenever they choose to pull the trigger they are as fast as anyone..Double A for sure.
4) Row 36!!!!
Life is good!

Happy Labor Day You FFs!
